PURPOSE

This project seeks to raise awareness of the potential consequences of language abuse, which is any speech or act used to intentionally hurt someone.

This project provides social media users with the chance to practice and apply strategies for avoiding language abuse in a safe and supportive environment (Ravi et al., 2020).
-
Through this process current and potential language abusers can become self-regulated and make positive changes.

OBJECTIVES

The primary objective of this project is to educate social media users about avoiding language abuse.

This project will focus on raising social media users’ awareness of the potential harms of language abuse, as well as providing resources and strategies for them to avoid it.

Through this project, users will be able to learn about the consequences of language abuse, as well as strategies to prevent it.

Additionally, users will be able to practice and apply these strategies in a safe and supportive environment.

Ultimately, this project aims to reduce the prevalence of language abuse in our society and create a more respectful and inclusive online space.

EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES

The educational objectives of this project are to provide social media users with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and avoid language abuse.

This includes understanding the potential consequences of language abuse, as well as developing strategies for avoiding it.

Additionally, this project will provide social media users with the opportunity to practice and apply these skills in a safe and supportive environment.

PROGRAM AIM
This program aims at educating social media users of all ages, from all around the world about one of the biggest challenges faced in the cyber space. With technology reaching far and wide and entering households, it becomes incumbent to learn what is the right way of communicating in the online space. We are trying to make this program as widely available as possible to facilitate safe and responsible practices on social media.
