Welcome to the English Writing Course. 

Acquiring good academic research and writing skills early on is essential for your success both at university and in your professional life. This course aims to give you an understanding of the conventions of academic writing in English and to teach you the components and benefits of what is called process writing. If you want to learn English while having fun, this free website is just for you.

2-Week Course

This 2 week course will help you improve many areas of English language. This is your one-stop for all you want to learn about writing at the academic level.

Never mind if you are a beginner or intermediate or in the advanced level of learning. It will help you acquaint new knowledge and strengthen whatever you have already learnt. The skills taught in this course will empower you to succeed in any college-level course or professional field. You’ll learn to conduct rigorous academic research and to express your ideas clearly in an academic format.

How will you learn?

  • Lessons are followed by guided and independent practice.

  • Practice is then followed by an assessment in order to check your progress.

  • Additionally, writing assignments will be given at the beginning and end of each course, giving you the chance to apply what you've learned about complex sentences.

  • Finally, you'll have the opportunity to review the writings of others through a peer review assignment.

  • In each module you will find video lectures and reading assignments and assignments, such as quizzes, reflective self-assessment questions, as well as some peer review exercises in which you will have an opportunity to interact with other students taking the course.
